Description
Normal 0 Billiard History on Film Double Reel, 16 mm film of the 1966 U.S. Open 14.1 Straight Pool Finals. This is the match where Irving Crane runs “150 and out” versus Joe Balsis. It was held at the Sherman House Hotel, Chicago, IL and was played on a 9’ Brunswick table. The film has full sound with the infamous ‘Whispering” Joe Wilson doing the commentary. The score keeper is Joe Shardt – a name very familiar with fans in his hometown of Milwaukee, WI, as well as the entire Midwest. I bought this film from Joe Shardt over 35 years ago. The film is in very good condition and is said to be one of only two films made. The two reels are securely packaged in a box with cloth straps. (See picture) This item is a “must have” for the true pool fan or collector of billiard memorabilia.
