This sign is custom made and mounted on a silk-screen composite backing with the metal skeleton hidden behind so as not to detract from the signs' gorgeous appearance. This signwould cost you at LEAST $700.00 to have it made. The sign will mount on your wall and look absolutely seamless and flush-a perfectly clean look. In my very educated opinion shipping via any other message is like dropping your sign off of a cliff and praying it hits the ground in one piece. Let's not KID OURSELVES!...if you've ordered a neon(s) before, which most buyers of neon have, then you've undoubtedly had a broken neon(s) come to you. You know the hassle of dealing with claims, refunds etc. GPX for me, has a 95+% success ratio in getting signs there in one piece. UPS,USPS,FEDEX and DHL are about 30-70% depending on the mood in the warehouse. According to their carefully worded tariffs,DHL and FEDEX do NOT insure neon.(no matter what the CSR's on the phone say) I learned this the hard way after both companies broke 10's of thousands of dollars worth of my meticulously packed signs. I've shipped a gillion neons in the last 4 years so I know what I'm talking about here believe me. My closest GPX terminal is a 6 hour round trip for me so I sure as heck do not ship via GPX out of convenience. I do it because it is what's best for everyone. Although it is quite an inconvenience for me personally and perhaps for you to get to your closest GPX, you must weigh the options.
